Russian Standard Co., a vodka company, has begun production from its new $60 million distillery in St. Petersburg.
The 30,000-square-meter complex will produce up to 4 million cases
of vodka per year, at a rate of 22,500 bottles in hour, marking a
doubling in capacity over the company`s previous production, RSC said
Monday in a news release.
RSC owns two-thirds of Russia`s premium vodka market and sells more
than 1 million cases per year in Russia and 28 markets across Europe,
the United States and Asia.
